It's Here! May Giveaway Day!

I'm really excited to participate in SewMamaSew's Giveaway Day! It's been such a busy month 'round here and I really intended to sew something great, but alas time got away from me. I still have some cute stuff to offer so go ahead and leave me a comment on this post about one of my previously posted projects and I'll enter you to win a box of goodies including my handmade soap...

A beautiful 1 1/2 yard cut of fans with a hint of gold from Hoffman Fabrics...

And a Kleenex Pouch made from AH Mocca Line...

I will ship internationally and this giveaway will stay open until May 31. Thanks, SewMamaSew for hosting this!

Wow. Actually, your Memorial Day post strikes me in particular - my brother is about to finish training and be assigned to his active duty station with the US Marines. I can't wait to make him a quilt to keep him warm when he deploys, and help show him how much I appreciate his work.

Thanks for the giveaway!

so far, i'm loving the 9-patches you've done for amandajean's quiltalong and can't wait to see that complete. i really like the quilt you made for your husband - the colors are nice and warm (not too patriotic-y, but still shows it). i've started making quite a few quilts of valor this year for our soldiers and sailors.

I just started quilting myself and have complete 2 crib sized quilts and 2 doll quilts. I'm already hooked! I love making crib quilts b/c they are small and not so intimidating to me. Your stacked coin quilt is beautiful. I have yet to try one of those but I've bought the fabric to make one, so we'll see. Thanks for entering me in your giveaway!

I love the comfort quilt you did -- purple and green are my favorite colors. I hope your friend is coming through strong! My dad just recently finished up chemo. Not a fun process.

And thank you for the brief explain of the disappearing nine-patch! I hadn't gotten around to googling it yet, but I keep seeing such lovely quilts made that way. Such a great and simple way to get so many different looks.

(I figured most people would be commenting on projects from the last month, so I went back a bit further. I'm glad I did! That quilt hits a note with me.)

I was reading your post about Memorial Day & it really struck a chord with me. My uncle passed away a few months ago. Thank your husband for us!
